Hello Tooth Tally Friends!!

My name is Jamie Hecht. I teach first grade at Redwood School in West Orange, New Jersey. We are about 30 minutes from New York City. We haven't really seen any snow this year. Usually we have had about a foot of snow already. It has been unseasonably warm!

Our school is very diverse both socially and economically. I have a wonderful class of 21 students; 10 boys and 11 girls. We are very excited about starting the tooth tally. We look forward to hearing from you as well.

Keep on wiggling!! Jamie Hecht

Hello to all!!

Our class lost a total of 5 teeth this month. We were going strong in the beginning and we seem to have slowed down in the long stretch. We will continue wiggling and we look forward to hearing from you in March!!

We enjoyed learning about why it is important to keep our teeth healthy. We made toothbrushes out of paper and we are keeping a chart of how often we brush. We even got free Crest packages from Crest toothpaste! What fun!! Keep on wiggling!!!

Mrs. Hill, were you hit with the hail storm?? We saw that on the news??

Talk to you soon! Mrs. Hecht and class.
