Hi! My name is Colleen Bennett and I am a first grade teacher at
Peculiar Elementary. We are a part of the Raymore-Peculiar School
District. There are 6 elementary buildings in our district. In our
school, there are 4 sections of each level except third grade – they
have 3. Each of the first grade classrooms have about 22 students. Our
school mascot is the Patriot.
We are about 25 miles south of Kansas City, Missouri. We just had a lot
of ice and snow, so we missed an entire week of school. We are now
getting out of school on June 1.

Here is the picture my class chose to be our tooth fairy! We had so much
fun drawing her.

We lost 5 teeth in February!!! We have many more loose teeth ready to
come out!

We had another great month! We had two girls and two boys lose teeth!
They just keep falling out! I hope everyone is having a great year. We
are getting ready for a short spring break next week.
