GROUP 4 - 1DH

Osage Hills School, Bartlesville, Okalahoma

Greetings from Osage Hills School;

We are a very small (190 students) PK – 8th grade school. We are located near Bartlesville, Oklahoma, but are not part of their school system. Check out our website www.osagehills.k12.ok.us. This year we have two first grades. Mrs. Gilkey will take part in group 4. She has 20 students. Our school mascot is a warrior since our school is in the Cherokee Indian reservation. The tribe is building a large Casino about 5 miles up the road from our school. Basketball is our favorite sport.

The capital for Oklahoma is in Oklahoma City. Bartlesville is located 50 miles straight north of Tulsa.

We hope to hear from all the classes in our group.

I guess the cold weather set the teeth in good. We only lost 2 teeth here at Osage Hills School. We are ready for spring to come. We drew Tooth fairy’s and Glymph’s on the computer using Drawing 4 Children.

This was our first week back from Spring Break. It has rained every day!

We had been in a drought and the ponds had dried up. Now all the ponds are full and the grass is turning green. The weather man from a TV station in Tulsa came and talked to us about weather safety.

We lost 2 teeth again this month, one from a boy and one from a girl, so I guess we are not discriminating. We tied with the other first grade for the number of teeth lost.
