Dear Tooth Tally friends,

We are 15 first grade kids who are in Ms. Sabatelli’s afternoon class. We come to the computer lab to learn with Ms. Simmons on Tuesdays.

We are smart. We speak English, Spanish, French and, Liberian. Our families are from El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Bolivia, Liberia, and USA.

We go to Broad Acres Elementary School. It is a Title One school of about 400 students (PK-5th grade). Our mascot is the Bulldog. Our school is in Silver Spring, Maryland. It is about 7 miles from the U.S. Capitol building in Washington DC.

We are excited to be in the Tooth Tally with you.

Write back soon! Sincerely,
Ms Sabatelli’s 1st graders

Dear Group 4 Tooth Tally Pals,

We missed 6 days of school in February because of a big ice storm... we even missed having our Valentine's Day Party! We still kept track of our lost teeth, even when we were not in school. Our class lost 6 teeth in February. We have been learning about plaque and playing games about keeping our teeth healthy.

We will send you some tooth fairy pictures in March.

Happy wiggling!
Ms Sabatelli's class

Dear Tooth Tally Pals in Group 4,

One girl in our class lost teeth in the month of March. None of the boys lost any teeth, but we are still wiggling! Today is the last day before our Spring Break. We will try to remember to keep track of our lost teeth while we are at home. The cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom and it is starting to finally feel like spring!

Sincerely,
Ms Sabatelli’s first grade class.
