Hello everyone! I am one of the lucky teachers that work with the wonderful Mrs. Smith who started this Tooth Project! I'm so grateful for this exciting opportunity!

We are a large class of 27 here at Barwell Road Elementary in Raleigh, North Carolina. This is the very first year of our brand new school, so we have definitely been experiencing a lot of trial-and-error. We have grades from PreK-5 and although we have over 700 students right now, our building was built to eventually hold 1100! Our school also operates on a year-round calendar so we basically rotate 9 weeks in school and then 3 weeks off. Therefore, there might be some months when our teeth data is very low because the children aren't in school for me to find out! I have also attached a picture of our class.

We look forward to hearing from everyone!

Hello Tooth Tally friends!

Can you believe it's already March? We have been having some warmer weather this week and are looking forward to spring.

We have some exciting news! Our class has lost 17 teeth! That's 2 more than our Tooth Tally Graph will hold. Five of those teeth were lost by Charles, who had them all pulled at the same time at the dentist's office. Khristian lost two teeth on the same day during school! One came out during Calendar time and the other was accidentally knocked out while he was playing during recess. We'll be looking forward to seeing if we lost that many teeth in March.

Hello everyone! I'm emailing a little early, but my class is currently tracked out for the next few weeks! (The benefits of going to school year round.) Anyway, we have definitely slowed down this month. We've only lost 3 teeth. Maybe we'll lose more next month.

We are enjoying the nice hot weather that has just arrived and we're hoping it continues. Hope everyone else is doing great! Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
