It's fun to
compare how many teeth the Year 1 classes at Lindfield East Public
School lose each month.
We count the lost teeth by sticking a tooth picture on our Tooth Tally
Board. Everyone who loses a tooth colours in a tooth picture, cuts it
out and glues it on our board so we can count them.
We are also using Excel to compare the lost teeth in our school.
We have learnt computer skills such as saving, opening a file, using a
spreadsheet and graphing.
Do you know that each month the total number of teeth lost at Lindfield
East Public School was the same as a whole Year 1 class! So there
was a whole class of lost teeth in our school! How funny! The computer
helped us work this out.
We each are making a graph of lost teeth. Click on
