Going onto these sights can be dangerous and risky. Here are some tips to make you and your friends safer.

Don't give out personal information no matter what. The person you are talking to may not be your friend. Have you ever met them? if not, don't trust them. Giving out fake information can also be a bad and dangerous idea, just don't do it.

MSN, My space, Facebook etc. can be dangerous so stick to the profiles and friends you know. If someone does want to be your friend and you don't know them, block them, it's the best thing to do and tell your parents after so if the person keeps on coming back your parents know.

Asking to meet someone over the web can be very risky. The person you might think you know could turn out to be a rude, mean, nasty, dangerous person so don't trust them.

Another thing not to do is not to give out pictures of yourself they're are stalkers around. Giving out pictures could be great fun but there are people that go on the net and paste your picture to there profile.
