Year 4 used the well-loved poem of a silly old woman who swallows everything from a fly to a horse to work on their word processing and typing skills.
"There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" is a children's song with a cumulative structure. (A song whose verses are built from earlier verses, usually by adding a new stanza to the previous verse.) There are many variations of phrasing in the lyrics, especially for the description of swallowing each animal.
