We made this website to teach schools how important water is and how we can save it. Helping people save water is just one of the many ways we are helping secure Australia’s precious water supply. We are trying to provide as much clean water for everyone in schools around Australia.

Here's a tip! To check if you have a water leak read your water metre before and after a two-hour time period when no water is being used. If the the metre does not read exactly the same, you have a leak!

OUR SITE'S PURPOSE

The purpose of this web site is to get more people interested in saving water.

We wanted to focus on saving water at schools more than anything else because it is important for children to learn about it and when they are older they will be better at it. Saving water is important for schools because it also saves a lot of money and the school garden/lawns will be growing very well.

We’ve described what we do to save water and we hope that other schools will follow on from that.

INTENDED AUDIENCE

This website has been made for school kids. We think children will benefit most from this website because it is about saving water in different places around the school; the bathrooms, gardens, classrooms, etc.

Our school would like to teach other schools to use as many ways as possible to save water. We have put in a lot of effort to try and make the 'LEPS WaterSaviour' to help teach other children about saving water.

We hope this website will affect other schools around Australia, or even schools in other countries.
