People on the internet could be making up lies about who they really are. So it is best not to trust them even if you think you know them.

Tell someone that you trust if something makes you feel threatened, worried or uncomfortable.

If someone says something abusive, rude or mean things to you, You have the power to block them or ignore them.

Change your contact details if you have been hacked into, abused or threatened.

If you receive nasty emails, don't forward them, even if you want to show someone what they've sent you.

Online friends are really just strangers.

Some parents don't really know about the internet. It is up to you to be safe.
