Non-Teaching

Non-teaching roles and projects Cheryl has completed include many aspects of hardware infrastructure set-up including Windows Server and the establishment and maintenance of the Local Area Network (LAN) at two schools. Cheryl has held the position of Computer Coordinator at these schools, a role which required liaison with Regional IT Support centres and managers. In this role, Cheryl has advised Regional staff on school computer configuration and recommended software solutions which are now in regular use by teachers and students across the state (ArtRage, Tux Paint).
 
Cheryl currently manages and administers the Lindfield East Public School intranet including all student computer logins, access, accounts and passwords.
 
Web design and maintenance has also featured in Cheryl’s work with the design and creation of several current websites and the authoring and maintenance of school local intranets.
